I should put a disclaimer up front, since there is no english spell check on this computer, I don't take any responsibilities for my own words. :)
Finally we made it. It was a pretty long flight, 9 hours to Frankfurt, Germany, 4 hours layover and 1.5 hours to Budapest, Hungary. We thought we are prepared for the onflight entertainment for Dani, but as my aftermath analysis will prove only thanks to the "lady of fortune" that the trip didn't end up as a disaster. Our first line of defense was 2 episodes of Handy Manny, 2 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and 3 episodes of Sesame Street. Face value of these movies about 3 hours, but the true value for Dani was only 30 minutes. For the counter attack on any additional boredome we had 4 various story books richly illustrated with pictures that should capture even a child's imagination. We expected to milk those books for at least two hours. Wrong! Two minutes each and Dani was ready to do something else. Our last hope to fill up any more cracks on our preparedness were the additional toys we packed. I have to add, we calculated with at least 2 hours sleep and with an hour for feeding. So all our planned entertainment made up about 6 hours, but not for the little Energizer bunny it took him only 40 minutes to kill all options. Fortunatelly, his sleep time increased dramatically to 6 hours and also had some very unusual quiet lay time. After all, the trip wasn't that bad and not just us, but all our bags made it in one piece to home.
On the airport...
We were really tired
